Fantastic Foodie Free For All

Without further ado...your results...

Just kidding. Technical difficulties (that was at 6:00 a.m.)

No wait. Just kidding that we're just kidding. The video is finally up and running (this in sometime around 9:00 a.m.).

Sorry about all the confusion. Newcomers, this is not our norm. Continue checking back in and you'll see it's true. We're normally creative, but predictable; fun, but timely.

Before you delve into the video, two quick notes. We have some Free For Alling to do. Today we want your ideas on items should be considered for the secret ingredients. Pepper, bacon, cheddar cheese, lemon juice... you name it.

Maybe you can use the extra 12 minutes you won't use watching our video this morning to begin conditioning for next week's triathlon. Three days, three events - all which flex a different creative muscle. Win the triathlon and win $100.00. It's easy, it's fun, and it's free. Get in on the fun!

Heather @ HouseofShine.com said...

Oh and Anonymous of course we could post the results in the comments section but that just wouldn't have the same "fun factor" would it?

The video is up now...it hit the page at 8am Central time...not too late in the day!

My kids start back to school next week (YAY!). I bought two pencil boxes to fill with some fun items for the elementary school teachers. I don't want to leave the middle and high school teachers out but can't figure out what to do for them, something small but special. Would love ideas...

I would also love to know how many Ike shirts we're at for the challenge.

THanks ladies!

Yes, congtrautlations to Kate and Lauren. We can't wait to see what fun you cook up.

My suggestions for ingredients:
Sausage
Jalepeno peppers
Barbeque sauce
Garlic

I'm off to check out Diana's cake. Anyone else going to try?

Claudia @ Highlowaha said...

I just checked out Diana's cake, posted on her blog: http://www.eightbitbird.com/2009/08/06/shortcuts-and-mental-health-cakes/

You've got to check it out. Who else will take the cake challenge? Tera, where are you? This is right up your alley.

Robin... ideas for your kids teachers (which by the way, is one o the reasons you SHINE). Maybe a small decorated canvas tote? A nice cube of paper or other note pad, a small but decorative candy dish, or a small cosmetic-type bag with containing a few items like spot remover, a nail file, bandaids, saftey pins.
